Miske, Betty L., 95, of Geistown. Died April 7, 2022, at home. Born Jan. 29, 1927, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Joseph and Edna (Mulvehill) Havener. Also preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Paul A. Miske; sister, Mary Jane Geisel; and brother James Havener. Survived by children; Steve (Suzanne) Miske, Christine (Richard) Kornprobst and Paulette Brown; grandchildren, Melissa Miske, Kimberly (Michael) Lacy, Heather (Greg) Cook and Eric (Bridgette) Brown; great grandchildren, Katherine, Connor and Sloane Lacy, Ansley, Emerson Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown and St. Benedict Mothers’ Club. Betty started the St. Benedict school uniform program and transported the Sisters of St. Benedict to Pittsburgh. Betty was the Girls Summer Softball coach and was a Richland Township School Bus Driver for 35 years. She was proud of helping her husband build 6 homes in Geistown. Betty had a strong work ethic and made 90 quilts. She made the best grape wine and helped many with their health problems. She always helped anyone who needed help and shared whatever she had. Friends received 2 to 7 pm Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil Service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 pm Monday at St. Benedict Church. Fr. David S.
