Betty J. Bestvina

Bestvina, Betty J., 86, of Belmont. Went to be the with the Lord on January 15, 2021. Born June 16,1934 in Cairnbrook, PA. Daughter of the late Andrew and Evelyn (Michalko) Bero. Preceded in death by brothers William Bero, Robert Bero, Sister-in-law Carole Bero, Daughter in law Arley Bestvina, and nephew Mark Bero. Survived by loving husband of 69 years Paul J. Bestvina: Children Timothy R. Bestvina and Lisa M. Bestvina. Grandchildren Danette M. Grasser and Joseph R. Bestvina married to Terri. Also 7 Great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Betty was a graduate of Johnstown High School class of 1952. She had several jobs including Acme Market and St. Benedicts Church and School. Betty also worked at Montgomery Ward. She sang in the choir at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Geistown and traveled to Rome with them.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Moxham. Family and friends received from 11:30 am to time of Funeral Service at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Committal at St. Joseph Cemetery, Geistown. The family would like to thank the staff on West Wing at Arbutus Park Manor for their care of Betty.
