Bernice J. Locher

LOCHER – Bernice J., 81, of Richland. Died May 17, 2025 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Aug. 19, 1943 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late John and Mildred (Heskith) Malee. Also preceded in death by sister Barbara. Survived by husband, Charles R. Locher; children, Diana Hoy, Janice (Kyle) Mahoney, Charles (Katia) Locher, Sharon (John) Ramirez and Annie Locher. Grandchildren, Josh Hoy, Ryan Gavazzoni, Alex Mahoney, Lindsey Hoy, Kara McRae and Jacob Locher. Great Grandchildren, Hazel, and Asher McRae. Sister of Barry Malee and Brenda Rupert. Bernice has an Associates Degree from Penn Highlands Community College. She formerly served as a cook at Corner Coffee Shop making those great pies, etc. and also worked at Bestform. Bernice greatly enjoyed spending time with family, baking, and cooking. The family will celebrate her life later this summer when folks can come back home. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
