Barbara M. Kalinyak

Kalinyak – Barbara M., 83, East Conemaugh, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2021 at Windber Woods. Born on May 11, 1938 in Johnstown, daughter of Anthony J. and Stella P. (Wyrwas) Korcell. Preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Cindy R. Reed, sisters Florence Korcell and Leona Furman and brothers Tony and Edmund Korcel. She is survived by her granddaughter, Jennifer (David) Debevits, Johnstown; grandson, Duane (Gabrielle) Reed, Johnstown; great grandchildren, Cayden and Liliana Debevits; sister Stella Pisczek and several nieces and nephews. Barb was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed watching the steelers. Barb also loved her pet birds. At Barb’s request, there will be no public viewing. Committal will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Assumption Cemetery with Fr. Robert C. Hall officiating.  The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Church of the Transfiguration, 335 Second Street, Conemaugh, PA 15909 in memory of Barbara.
