Anna Louise Saccol

Saccol – Anna L., “Ann”, 88, Richland, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2019. Born on April 24, 1931 in South Fork, daughter of the late Evelyn (Lewis) Urban. She is survived by her loving children; Ronald E. (Merrilee), Franklin, PA, Valerie D. (Larry) Hess, Mohrsville, PA, Donald R. (Roxann), Salix, and Danna L. (Rick) Alverson, Flowery Branch, GA, grandchildren, Anthony (Billie Jo), Nathan (Andrea), and Rebecca Saccol, Brandon and  Amanda “AJ” Hess, Kayla (Matt) Smith, Haley (Adam) Natta, and Samantha and Ashley Alverson; 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Teresa “Rena” Saccol; cousins, Janet (Bill) Krens and Joyce (Joseph) Legard, and several nieces and nephews. Ann was a 1949 graduate of Adams Township High School. She was employed in retail sales for many years at various department stores. Ann was a member of Elton United Methodist Church; Order of the Eastern Star, Anna L. Windolph Chapter #495, Johnstown, where she served as Worthy Matron, and was also a member of the Order of Amaranth. She also served for many years as Judge of Elections and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Ann enjoyed birds and her dogs, as well as knitting, needle point, cross stitch, reading, playing cards, dancing, and was an avid Days of Our Lives fan. She especially loved spending time with her family and helping her friends. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Elton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Daryl Penrod officiating. Interment will be at South Fork Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Elton United Methodist Church, P.O.Box 96, 1086 Mt Airy Dr, Elton, PA 15934 in memory of Ann.
