Mackel, A. Marrgaret, 78, of East Taylor Township, passed away on December 16, 2010 at her Residence. She was born on February 19, 1932 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Edward L. and Matilda (Hofecker) Isenberg. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Charles R. Mackel Jr. and a sister, Mary J. Bloom. Survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles R. Mackel Sr., East Taylor Township; sons, Paul W., Altoona and William E. married to the former Geraldine Russell, South Fork; grandsons, Charles Stephens married to the former Tricia Wills, East Conemaugh, Daniel J., SC, and William A. Mackel, Johnstown, and Stephen R. Mackel, South Fork; great grandson, Shane M. Stephens, East Conemaugh and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a member of Conemaugh Grace Brethren Church and attended Pike Grace Brethren Church where she and her husband assisted with the AWANA Program. Margaret enjoyed reading, gardening and will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Monday and from 9 A.M. until time of service at 10 A.M. on Tuesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh with the Rev. Joe Couch officiating. Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Margaret.
