Ann Mlinarchik

Mlinarchik – Ann, “Annie”, 91, Cover Hill, passed away on November 30, 2017 at home. She was born February 20, 1926 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Metro and Anna Kubara. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, John “Lindy”. Brothers, John, Lewis and Daniel Kindja. Sisters Mary Wietecha and Catherine “Kuby” Virus. Great grandchildren, Kari Ann, Emma Ann and Nathan Hunter Croyle; brother-in-Law, Charles “Chas” Virus, and sister-in-law, Mary Kindja. Survived by loving children, Linda Zalnerowitz, Tucson, AZ, Ron (Anna Marie), Benshoff Hill, Margaret “Peg” (David Antolik) Jennerstown; grandchildren, April (Brad Croyle); Megan Mlinarchik and Erin (Gareth) Anderson; Lindsey (Evan) Sawyer, Kali (Darin) Long and Zachary Antolik; great grandchildren, Leighton John and Hayden Ann Croyle, and Evva Josephine and Loren Samuel Anderson, and several nieces and nephews. Ann retired after 35 years of service as an LPN at the Former Lee Hospital, and then continued to volunteer there for 17 years. She was also a blood donor for the Red Cross, having given over 17 gallons. Ann was a member of Christ the Savior Cathedral and was very active in the rosary society. She was a loving mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Ann also loved cutting her grass, but it always had to be in 4 different directions. Friends received from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12 p.m. on Saturday December 9th at Christ the Savior Cathedral, The Very Rev. Protopresbyter Robert A. Buczak. Committal will be at the Christ the Savior Cathedral Cemetery, Benshoff Hill. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Christ the Savior Cathedral, Eternal Memory Endowment Fund, 249 Butler Ave. Johnstown, Pa 15906, in memory of Ann.
