Althea A. Berkebile

Berkebile – Althea A., 81, Salix, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2024 at her residence. Born on January 9, 1943 in Windber, daughter of Dale B. and Allegra M. (Hironimus) Seese. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Adrian. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Larry L. Berkebile; children, Sharon Taylor, Lancaster, Eileen A. Tittle, Johnstown, Stephen L. Berkebile, Jerome, PA, and Craig A. Knipple, Johnstown; grandchildren, Matthew (Lacie), Ryan, Tyler, Chance, Brittany (Jesse); great grandchildren, Lincoln, Piper, Macie, Ellie, Rosslyn, Kylee, Isabella, Maci, and Carter; brother, Alden (Judy) Seese; brother-in-law, Dennis (Diana) Berkebile and several nieces and nephews. 

Althea was a graduate of Johnstown Christian High School. She was a member of Emmanuel Church. Althea loved her family dearly and will be missed by all. 

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Emmanuel Church, with the Pastor David Pitkins officiating.
