Alex J. Litko, Sr.

Litko, Alex, J., Sr., 66, of Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2011 at home. He was born October 3, 1945 in Windber. Son of the late Alex and Eva M. (Clark) Litko. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Raymond Rager and his nephew, Spike Rager. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Connie M. (Rager) Litko, Johnstown; children, Alex J. Jr. married to the former Jeanne M. Rich, Richland Township, Wendy J. wife of Charles E. Lupton Jr., Hollsopple, PA, and Dana M. wife of Shawn M. Waltz, Somerset, PA; grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, and Zachary Litko, Brandon Fesko, Ashley and Austin Waltz; mother-in-law, Evelyn C. Rager, Windber, PA; brothers-in-law, Dan married to the former Betty Boyd, Johnstown, Dennis married to the former Gloria Karmendy, Richland Township and Lou married to the former Diane Yeager, Windber, PA; several nieces, nephews and many special friends. Alex retired from Bethlehem Mine #33, Ebensburg. He was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Windber, PA. Alex enjoyed spending time at Subway, Center One Complex, Richland Township; in his shed and was meticulous with his yard. He loved Gaither Gospel music and his entire family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends received from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. on Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 514 Shady Lane
