Alan L. Sowerbrower

Sowerbrower – Alan L., “Pap”, 61, Richland, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2018. Born on March 28, 1957 in Johnstown, son of Robert L. and Flora M. (Wolfe) Sowerbrower. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert Lyndon. He is survived by his children, Amanda L. Marx, Emily M., Robert B., Kenneth R. Sowerbrower, and Edith A. Zagrod; grandchildren, Lorin, Samantha, Gabriel, Benjamin, and Madeline; sister, Barbara E. (John) McIntyre; brother, Richard L. Sowerbrower, niece, Barbie E. Everhart and many friends. Pap was a 1975 graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech. He was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church. Alan enjoyed reading Biblical and informational books, as well as hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He loved the outdoors, but especially loved his kids. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Monday at Belmont United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jean Smith officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
