Agnes H. Neisner

Neisner – Agnes H., 97, Daisytown, went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2017 at her residence. Born on May 7, 1920 in Johnstown, PA, daughter of Albert and Ann (Kick) Hoffman. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank J. Neisner; grandson, Joseph Neisner and siblings, Leo F., Betty Jane Kick, Rose Lopresti, Mary Guzio, Joe, and Anna McKinney. She is survived by her loving children, Francis Sr., married to the former Doris Burkhart, Cover Hill, Donald, Daisytown, and Dennis, married to the former Denise Keyser, Franklin Borough; grandchildren, Michael “Scott” (Gail) Neisner, Cover Hill, Francis Jr. Neisner, Los Vegas , NV, James (Missy) Neisner, Geistown Borough, Donald (Anita) Neisner, Cover Hill , Heather (Jeff) Layton, Cover Hill, April (James) Weingart, East Taylor Township, and Holly Neisner, Franklin Borough; great grandchildren, Shane Neisner and Tyler Neisner both of Cover Hill, Lee Neisner, Geistown Borough, Todd and Samuel Neisner, Cover Hill, and Landon, Logan, Ariel, Riley, Skilee, and Ethan Weingart all of East Taylor Township; great-great granddaughter, Savannah Corrie, Johnstown; siblings, Rubert Hoffman, OH, Charles, NJ, and Jim, FL and several nieces and nephews. Agnes was employed at various homes as a house keeper for many years. She was a member of Ss. Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Daisytown and its Altar Rosary Society; Daisytown Volunteer Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary; and the Cambria County Volunteer Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary. Agnes enjoyed working with flowers, baking, and BINGO. She loved spending time with her entire family and will be sadly missed. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Ss. Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Daisytown, Fr. Robert Ruston. Committal will be at Oak Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Ss.
