WEYANT---Charles Junior Sr., 95, Richland, passed away peacefully at home on November 21, 2021, with his loving daughter, Margaret and son-in-law Vernon at his side. Born June 19, 1926, in Windber, son of Margaret Jeannette Weyant. Preceded in death by his mother, first wife, Ann (Daley) Weyant, second wife, Sarah (Hoy) Weyant, brothers and sisters, Dorothy Peterman, infant, Dolores Weyant and Donald Weyant. Survived by children, Laura Diann (George) Kohan, Richland; Margaret (Vernon) Snyder, Windber; and Charles J. Weyant Jr. (Donna), Rostraver Township, PA; grandchildren, James F. (Paula) Mundok, Windber, Laurie Ann (Rob) Cecil, Wellington, FL; Gregory A. (Nancy) Mundok, Greer, South Carolina; George M. (Eman) Kohan Jr., Boynton Beach, FL; David L. Snyder (Nicole), Philadelphia and two step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Last surviving member of his immediate family. Charles was 1944 graduate of Windber High School. He retired from U.S. Steel after 36 years of service having worked there as a master machinist. He also worked part time doing body work on cars at different body shops. He enjoyed working in his yard and on his car, dancing, going to local festivals and reading car magazines. Member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Windber, Menoher VFW, Post #155, was the president of the SOAR Club and member of Cambria County Democratic Committee. The family would like to thank Leisha Johnson DCA, who gave our dad wonderful care and became a close friend of our family. The family would also like to thank Interim Healthcare Hospice. Our dad was reunited in later years with our Mom, Ann, who was his first love. At Charles’ request, funeral services will be private. Committal Richland Mausoleum.
