Ron and Sandy were both great influences on ALL of us kids that grew up on 5th St. in Conemaugh. The Selfridge's, Wainright's, Weimers and Piker's along with the Reynold's boys! We sure made some days and nights exciting on 5th St! Both Ron and Sandy coached us, put band aids on our many injuries during street football, hockey and wiffle ball games through the years. And who can forget the apple battles from Headricks Alley to the yards between 6th and 5th St's.! As we grow up, we move apart, but that tightness of a neighborhood of kids and families NEVER goes away! Our world is going to miss both of you!
