So sorry to hear that Leslie passed away. I remember all of you kids from Sunday school and bible school at Ferndale church. Also appreciated that every time you needed work done you called us.I had planned to come to the funeral home this evening, but when I heard all the news about the new covid variant I was afraid to get into large groups of people again. My prayers are with you though . I know from the church bulletin that she had been suffering.

Jim, Amanda, Jason, Paige, Ashley, and Claudia.

I knew your mom first through Girl Scouts, but she became the 1st person I trusted Shawn (Curly) with outside of family, when I returned to work. When a job change took me out of the area for a short period of time, I was so upset to leave. When I knew I was returning, she was the first person I called to see if Shawn could return to her and Miss Ashley. You all became his extended family. He still talks about his time with Leslie. His time playing with Jason and the dog and talking to Mr. Jim outside. He talks about Paige and how nice she was. Shawn talks about Miss Leslie's sister visiting and how fun she was. I will always remember my talks with Leslie when dropping off or picking up. I will be forever grateful for her making him a part of her family.

My condolences to all of you. May your memories bring you smiles, laughter, and comfort during this time.
