Hetrick, Marjorie I., 86, passed away July 23, 2017, in Denver, Colorado following a prolonged illness. Born October 21, 1930, in Johnstown, PA, to Ivy (Heidorn) and Ernest Ribblett. She grew up in Geistown and graduated from Richland High School in 1948. Married to Vincent F. Hetrick in 1950. Member of Belmont United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, husband Vince, sister Dorothea (Ribblett) Lehman, and brothers-in-law Edward Lehman and William Hetrick. Survived by daughter Barbara (Hetrick) Spence and son-in-law, William Denver, CO; son Bruce Hetrick and daughter-in-law Carol (Trimble), Lexington, KY; grandchildren Crystal Hetrick (John) Detzel, Georgetown, KY; and Brent (Emily) Hetrick, Cincinnati, OH; three great grandsons, Matthew, Jonathan, and Christian Detzel; and three great granddaughters, Sydney, Caroline, and Madison Hetrick. Also, sisters-in-law Norma Hetrick, State College, PA; and Linda (Hetrick) Zippilli, Martinsburg, WV; four nieces Debbie (Lehman) Cuppett, Leslie (Lehman) Clemenson, Debbie (Hetrick) Molin, and Cheryl (Hetrick) Gallagher; and nephew Brandon Shaffer. Margie loved being a wife and mother, supporting Vince in his career with Bethlehem Steel, and residing and traveling both nationally and internationally. Margie had many friends in Johnstown and never missed a party or pinochle game. She enjoyed golf, bowling, and trips to Myrtle Beach with her family. While with Bethlehem Steel, Margie and Vince lived in Richland Township, Bethlehem, PA, and Buffalo, NY. In retirement, they resided in Elizabethtown, KY, for a time before moving to Bedford, PA, and later returning to Richland. Margie often volunteered at the Bedford County Memorial Hospital and at the Arbutus Park Manor gift shop. Memorial services in celebration of a life well-lived will be held at Belmont United Methodist Church at 11 AM Saturday Aug. 5, 2017. Rev. Keith Dunn, officiating, followed by a luncheon at the church. Private Inurnment will be in the Mausoleum at Richland Cemetery.
